2. The Assembly
The District also welcomes a new coffee and retail shop to the area called The Assembly. The owner, Shi Jun Ng (Jun for short), wanted to create a more than just a café, rather a well-designed, community-oriented space.
Aside from serving Counter Culture Coffee and food items from The Larder, the shop integrates Jun’s design interest by showcasing items from vendors, artisans and creatives. Whether you visit for the coffee or the retail offerings, you won’t be disappointed by the creative interior that is the result of collaborations with local designers.
