When walking around the West Hollywood Design District, you’ll find yourself stumbling upon plenty of stunning interior design showrooms and high-end fashion boutiques. It is an exciting time to be perusing the district. Despite the treasures you will find inside the stores, some of the real treasures are the buildings themselves.
What was once the Herman Miller Showroom, is now the Domus Design Collection. A whopping 65 year later, the building still stands. More notably this very building was designed by the internationally-acclaimed furniture design team, Charles, and Ray Eames.
This dynamic duo is responsible for groundbreaking contributions in the field of architecture, industrial design, furniture design, manufacturing and the photographic arts. Not to mention the famous “Eames Lounge Chair.”
