The past few weeks have been busy for our five new neighbors moving into the design district including: Helmut Lang, Mr. Nail Lounge, Poggenphol, St. Marble Designs and Zinque. Below is a quick preview of each business, but be sure to stop in and say hello.

Helmut Lang Installation
Racked LA recently featured Helmut Lang’s new installation at 8808 Melrose Ave. Just next door to John Varvatos and steps away from Maxfield, Cerre and James Perse, Helmut Lang is in excellent company. For the Melrose installation, Helmut Lang is offering both men’s and women’s collections. Make sure to stop by and check out their beautiful new space.
Mr. Nail Lounge
Calling all stylish gents, Mr. Nail Lounge is now open exclusively for you at 9005 Melrose Ave. “Founders, Nana and Maston Kucheki, have taken off their six inch Louboutins and put themselves in a pair gentleman’s shoes. They have not only taken the act of getting ones nails done to a places for men only, but changed the entire nail salon experience to a prestigious and exclusive lounge for men only,” – Mr. Nail Lounge Website.
Poggenpohl Los Angeles Kitchen Studio
Poggenpohl joins the West Hollywood Design at 8900 Beverly Blvd. “Open to the public as well as the architectural and interior design community, the Poggenpohl showroom offers full service kitchen design and installation – taking your dreams and making them a reality from conception to execution,” – Poggenpohl website.
St. Marble Designs
ST Designs joins the design district at 9020 Beverly Blvd. “ST Designs has the resources throughout the world to bring your creative imaginations to reality. All of the pieces shown here are just examples of installations that were collaborative creations between ST Designs and our wonderful customers,” – ST Design website.
Zinque
From coffee to happy hour, Zinque is a gorgeous new cafe at 8684 Melrose Ave across from the Pacific Design Center. Tucked between Robert Kuo and Hamilton Selway Fine Art, Zinque has ample patio seating with an outdoor fireplace and charming decor. Come by for breakfast or swing by for happy hour Monday through Friday from 4:00pm – 6:30pm. Zinque is open late on weekdays until midnight and 2:00am on weekends, and serves most menu items until 11:00pm.
Sielian’s Vintage Apparel
Sielian’s Vintage Apparel made a short move east to 8629 Melrose Ave. Still located in the design district, Sielian’s specializes in high-end designer vintage apparel and accessories. The boutique is a small, well-edited collection from the 90’s-20’s with an emphasis on “classic” vintage. Drop by their new location to check out their summer collection.
