The plan was adopted by City Council in summer 2013, and developed with the help of a consultant team and community working group. During plan adoption, City Council requested that the public gathering spaces identified in the Master Plan be further developed through a community design process. This summer, the City will begin phase 2 of the project, hosting three community workshops to help finalize the vision for new public spaces in the West Hollywood Design District.
