The City&#8217;s Art and Cultural Affairs Commission\u00a0is pleased to encourage public art projects\u00a0at commercial properties.<\/h4>\n<p>Murals can draw attention to or serve as a landmark for your business, provide an opportunity for an artist, and serve as a way of beautifying the public realm.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\" https:\/\/www.westhollywooddesigndistrict.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/1234550_799368733481043_1460591973720880866_n.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8433\" src=\" https:\/\/www.westhollywooddesigndistrict.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/1234550_799368733481043_1460591973720880866_n.jpg\" alt=\"Woven Accents mural by RISK, Beautifully Destroyed, in the West Hollywood Design District\" width=\"960\" height=\"617\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Graffiti artist RISK produced the vibrant mural <a href=\"https:\/\/westhollywooddesigndistrict.com\/beautifully-destroyed-by-risk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">&#8220;Beautifully Destroyed&#8221; on Woven Accents<\/a> earlier this year and continues to be a source of inspiration for the design district community.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/122028495\" width=\"610\" height=\"343\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Noteworthy artist RETNA created a mural on Craig&#8217;s Restaurant which made Racked LA&#8217;s &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/la.racked.com\/2015\/1\/26\/7997913\/las-11-most-instagram-worthy-street-art-spots\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">LA&#8217;s 11 Most Instagram-Worthy Street Art\u00a0Spots<\/a>&#8221; in January.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\" https:\/\/www.westhollywooddesigndistrict.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/retna-craigs-6.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9445\" src=\" https:\/\/www.westhollywooddesigndistrict.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/retna-craigs-6.jpg\" alt=\"RETNA mural on Craig's, Style Editrix, West Hollywood Design District\" width=\"700\" height=\"1050\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mural works and other exterior art that are proposed as public art works need to be reviewed by the Arts and Cultural Affairs Commision before installation takes place.
