Putting passion and inclusivity to work

After spending a decade in the healthcare industry, Lora Haddock, founder and CEO of Lora DiCarlo, believed it was time to have an open conversation about the health and wellness benefits of something that is part of our everyday lives. With years of research and anatomical data gathered from hundreds of women, she set out to create a totally new and different way to produce a perfect orgasm. Lora invented Osé, a one-of-a-kind product that holds 9 patents pending in micro-robotic technology and introduced the world to sex-tech inspired by human movement.

Lora has been listed as one of the top 53 women CEOs disrupting HealthTech by Forbes. To date, Lora has raised $5.2M for the company, including government funding from the State of Oregon, and sits on the board of the Technology Association of Oregon.

Lora has been named Executive of the Year by the International Business Awards, and was awarded a silver Stevie as Most Innovative Women of the Year by the Women’s Business Awards, amassing three additional awards from the Stevies last year.  This year Lora DiCarlo brought home ten new awards from the Consumer Electronics Show, including two more CES Innovations awards for new products, and was named Best of CES six times over by entities such as Time and Good Housekeeping. She is an internationally sought-after speaker and has appeared at events including Forbes’ Global Women’s Summit and the Detroit 30Under30 Summit, SXSW, TechCrunch Disrupt, CES, Tech Open Air, and will be a featured speaker at multiple prominent events throughout 2020.

Osé improved the way we experience sexual pleasure and broke some perception barriers about women in the tech world along the way. The product was a CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2019 Innovation Awards Honoree in the Robotics category. When the award was redacted, it sparked a public conversation about gender bias and inclusion in the tech industry and worked to update policies for 2020.

I am proudly sex positive and honored to be the founder of a company that is changing the way we think, talk and engage with each other about sexual health and wellness.

Thoughtful engineering inspired by you

Lora DiCarlo is passionate about bringing together diverse perspectives in design, engineering, and inclusivity. We envision a world where everyone can own their pleasure. In an industry dominated by men and rooted in bias and inequity, Lora DiCarlo is creating products from a female perspective designed for the sexual health needs of women and LGBTQ+ people.
