The company was founded in 2006 by Jason Peterson to address the convergence of media and technology through innovation in intellectual property rights management. In 2000, Jason forecast the paradigm shift from physical goods to digital goods and the convergence of Walkman’s, MP3 players, and phones. Today, GoDigital has a vision for the continued convergence of content, community, and commerce with music at the core. Market participants with lasting, culturally significant work and strong connections to their audience are in a great position to thrive, even with big tech companies using content in different ways. GoDigital Media Group has developed an ecosystem approach and continues to innovate for tomorrow’s business universe. What is now commonly referred to as the “three C’s” approach – content, community, and commerce, creates both a directional flow for the customer journey that fosters direct revenue growth, as well as an ecosystem that operates in a flywheel effect to the benefit of all components. This is what creates an infrastructure like business with a technology-based upside.

Content: Evergreen IP is a validated, scalable model with strong fundamentals. IP becomes content that drives first-party consumer interaction and millions of individual first-party data points and profiles.

Community: People connect through the content and activities they engage. Cultivating those communities generates more revenue and prevents disintermediation.

Commerce: Commerce is driven by need, and by a sense of connection – funneling our communities into commerce drives higher conversion rates at lower costs

The ecosystem isn’t just a one-way funnel, it also feeds back into a loop. Commerce creates a sense of community through shared purpose. Monetization of IP fuels greater overall value. The entire system operates as a flywheel with multiple drivers of growth within and across businesses. And we have an 18-year proven management track record without traditional founder limitations.
