Joe Bernard is a 20+ year media industry veteran who has led sales teams at top Hispanic media companies such as NBC Universal. Bernard is a thought leader and entrepreneur who has dedicated his career to establishing the value and definition of the U.S. Hispanic bicultural and modern Latino audience, including the launch of Mun2, one of the first English language TV networks for this audience. NGLmitú plays an important part in providing access to the Hispanic marketplace in ways that the traditional media companies don’t.

Award-winning, Emmy ® and Tony ® nominated Director and Producer Ben DeJesus has created over 100 hours of content specializing in the US Latinx, urban and youth markets. His work includes award-winning television, film, theater, non-fiction, branded and digital content. In 2014 DeJesus co-founded NGL Collective in partnership with John Leguizamo and David Chitel. At NGLmitú Studios, Ben directs and produces a growing slate of original television, documentary, non-fiction and digital projects. His passion for pop culture, music and theater continues to fuel his work.

As the Chief Brand Officer for NGLmitú, Vanessa oversees content, audience growth, and branding across the company’s portfolio of consumer-facing brands on editorial, social, video and experiential. Vanessa brings 20 years of media and marketing experience, having worked at niche Hispanic agencies and large media agencies in strategy and planning. As a client, Vanessa admired mitú as a company that authentically captured her culture and identity as a US-born Latina. Today, she’s proud to continue that work with a team that is dedicated to inspiring and reflecting the stories, experiences and accomplishments of Latinos that are fully American and closely tied to their culture.

With over 20 years of experience in the digital media and entertainment industry, Ben oversees operations at NGLmitú, with a strong focus on the media side of the business. Prior to NGLmitú, Ben was the co-founder and COO of NGL Collective, where he was instrumental in building the company into a leading force in Latinx media, which led to its acquisition by Go Digital Media Group and the merging with mitú. Prior to NGL Collective, Ben was at Batanga, Inc. (later VIX), where he stood up and led one of the first Hispanic ad networks in the market, and Latcom Communications, a publishing and events company targeting New Generation Latinos.
